ok stay

Location: excellent location! close to the shopping, food, and not far away from snow canyon
The hotel didn't look like much on the outside. The inside was better though. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was big and hot tub was nice. Good stay for the price.

I would not stay here :(

When I checked in, the front desk receptionist was not very friendly. I got my key and when I went into the room I was disgusted. The room was dirty, the floors were filthy, the furniture (including the bed) was dirty and in poor condition (holes, tears, stains), I don't think the bedding was clean, the door didn't shut properly and even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room someone had recently been smoking in the room and it smelled terrible. It was not a good situation. I packed up and left right away. I went back to the front desk and told them I was checking out. I told them about my concerns and they did offer to give me another room, but I don't believe that I got the only disgusting room and I didn't feel comfortable or safe staying at this hotel. I know it was a bargain, but Next time I will definitely pay a few extra bucks and stay somewhere that actually takes care of the property.

hotel was a lil run down

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, Free breakfast
Wifi never worked. Place appeared cheap and run down. We'd rather spend more next time than come back there to save money. The pool looked nice though.

Worst Hotel Ever stayed in.

Cons: Poor breakfast, hard to get to off freeway can't make a left
I will start with Ironman being in town hotels for a decent price were hard to come by or were full. According to the website this hotel was located on a different street, so when we didn't locate it we went to the first Super 8 we saw I decided to go it to make sure that it was the correct hotel. The person at the front desk was on her personal cell phone being rude to the person she was talking to and it took her a minute to end the call to help me. She was very rude and when I told her that I was just making sure this was the right hotel. The reservation was in my husbands name and she abruptly said he was the one who had to check in. I tried to explain to her I was making sure we were at the right place she was still rude and said he needed to be the one asking. As far as breakfast goes most stuff was stale and no trays to take food back to room. With 2 young kids there was no way I was going to wrangle them in the small breakfast area with 3 tables on a busy weekend. And the tray they said in the room had black residue in the crevices. The pool was filthy, as were the carpets in the room. I had my 1 and 2 year old with me and the carpets would make their feet gross. I think we had 12 tv stations that actually worked. The beds were so bouncy that when moving you nearly bounced out whoever was in bed with you. Being 7 months pregnant this was no fun. Had I realized how cheap these room usually are with out an event in St. George I would have gone elsewhere. We decided to extend our stay and stayed at the Best Western Abbey Inn. So much better.

It was conveniently located to Dixie College

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
I did a quick one night stop over and visited Dixie College the next day to take an exam. The motel was comfortable and quiet and worked out great.

Super 8 in St. George

A basic night's stay. Friendly check-in, and service. The shower didn't drain well but pressure was good. The bed was ok but the sheets looked like they had stains on them. Was with my son so no big deal. Wife would have freaked out. The breakfast offered limited options that were not very healthy. Plan to eat out if you want fruit, yogurt, or other healthly choices. Didn't use pool or hot tub.
