We did not like it that we were placed in a room closest to the interstate (noise) when we could have been placed elsewhere. I don't think it was very busy at the time.

The BEST kept Secret in North Mississippi

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
Very nice hotel all the way around. Not a single thing to list as a negative. Staff welcomed me as family, reservation was ready, room was beautiful and comfortable. The location was ideal with easy access to travel, yet highway noise was low. several good restaurants were in walking distance.

Great Sleeping Accommodations

Pros: Quiet, convenient, wonderful bedding, full service hotel
Cons: no free parking
When traveling, some people look for excetional business services, such as Wi-Fi and print services. Others look for great food, convenience, or reasonable rates. Me, I want a good night's sleep. This means that I have to be confident that the room is clean and that it has great bedding. The Hyatt Regency in Irvine, Ca. had the most wonderful bedding. The thick mattress and classic bedding ensemble caressed me during my slumber. The bed had tons of pillows including a near body-sized pillow. The tall decorative headboards gave me a feeling of grandeur that was further complemented by the granite counters and warm wood finish in the bathroom. All was beautifully kept and maintained. Other features, that impressed me all the more, were the free bike and cycling helmet checkout and the concierge. The concierge mapped out local bike trails that took us to the waterfront in Newport and routes to sites in Los Angeles, such as the Kodiak Theater, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and Sunst Boulevard. Irvine is a great community to visit. You are close enough to the beach, Los Angeles, and other neighboring communities, which we were able to visit, without the hastle of LA or LAX traffic. The John Wayne Airport (Santa Ana) is small and convenient for anyone wishing to avoid long lines at LAX. So the next time you visit Cali check out the Hyatt Regency in Irvine. You're guaranteed a quiet and peaceful night's rest in a luxurious premium quality bed with the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets over the mountains to greet you.
