The newly renovated 1800’s double barrel shotgun house has it all !!! Steps from all of our Beautiful Downtown Vicksburg, Parks and Museums. Every window in every room looks out onto the city scape and River. This home is immaculate in its design with luxe finishes. Unit 2 has a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, full guest bath and ample living room. The master suite has its on queen Bed and on- suite bath. You have a great deck to step out on and watch the sun set over the water and even a private back yard.

Cute house but not the best location and a few minor complaints
The house itself is adorable, has lots of character and has been nicely remodeled. However, the neighborhood is run down (as is most of Vicksburg these days). There were a few common amenities missing such as a hair dryer and iron. The house is an old shotgun house split into two levels. You can hear everything in the other part of the house so noise can be an issue if someone is staying in the other unit. The noise level from the street and downtown bars can also be heard through the windows. It was quite loud at night. As I stated before, the house itself is cute but due to some of the issues stated and the rundown neighborhood, I give it a 3/5. I don’t know if I’d stay here again.

Great location!
The location was perfect and right around the corner from downtown. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Communication with the owner was great and she had some awesome recommendations on where to eat and things to do.

Great Place to stay in Vicksburg
Place was easy to find coming from the highway into downtown. Once we got in it was decorated with a mix of the past and present which was cool. Everything we needed was there and we appreciated the recommendations that we got for dinner the 10 South rooftop bar and grill which was close by on Washington Street. And it was close by to Points of interest like the Vocksburg National Military Park. Enjoyed it all.

This was a nice little get a way for my husband and it. The house was very clean and nice!
This property was very nice! You can tell the owner out a lot of time into it! We had a really nice time. It is with one walking distance of downtown! I highly recommend this place!

A fun stop for Civil War Buffs
The property was by style and appearance was a 100 year+ home that has been renovated extensively and attractively. There are two bathrooms that have over the top overhauls. The decor is part reclaimed materials at one extreme and a 20+ cubic foot French Door refrigerator at the other end. In between is a bit of everything else. The location is as good as it gets with restaurants and museums in abundance within easy walking distance.

There are some communication issues checking in, andI don't know at whose in. they were. But Remy was on the spot helpful and got it fixed quickly. It's a very nice place, as pictured and an easy, if hillycentral Vicksburg. Vicksburg. Remy knowledgeable and helpful about local eatinv, educational, and cultural activities. I'm originally from the general area and still pass through Vicksburg periodically. I literally ask her if it was for sale-the highest compliment. Her love for the property & community shows.

Great place in a great location
This vrbo was clean, well-appointed, and very well located - we walked to every 'Must See' site (probably a good 12-15 in two days) except for the National Military Park. We also enjoyed having 2 full bathrooms at our disposal. A repeat, for sure!
