It was a work in progress on the outside but the inside of the cabins was very nice. Thank goodness it got cold at night as there were no air conditioners. Overall though, very nice.

I loved that it was not "on the strip". The property is located on the side of a lake and the units are new and comfortable. It is quiet. The staff is professional and Friendly. The store on the property is analyzing stocked.

Very pretty location. We loved being by the lake. The staff was very friendly & we had no issues. We would stay here again & we would highly recommend these cabins. Our only complaint is we had wished the unit had air conditioning.

Decent cabins, but No WiFi & no AC. The amenities says there is WiFi, but there is a notice in your room stating that all the cabins (over 50 rooms) share the same wifi and asks that you don’t listen to music or use Netflix. The wifi was useless the entire trip. We couldn’t search on our phones for restaurants or directions, let alone try to watch a movie in the evening.
The lack of AC was a shock. I went back to check the amenities and it does state “heating” so we should have known, but we never even thought to check since every place we’ve ever stayed had AC. It was in the upper 80s during our stay and the sun didn’t set until 9pm. We had to sleep with the windows and shades open (goodbye privacy!) in order to cool the room off enough to sleep comfortably. The idea that anyone could walk by our room and look in on us sleeping was disturbing and uncomfortable, but sweating the entire night was too.
They also have shared toiletries in the bathrooms instead of single-use items. I understand that this is probably cheaper for them, but it’s so unsanitary! There are pumps attached to the shower wall filled with shampoo, body wash, etc. but anyone who stayed in the room before you could open the pump and mix in whatever they want… and then you’re going to use it on your hair, face, and body? No way. Thankfully we brought our own. Overall the room was a nice size, clean, and comfortable but there were way too many negatives.

We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. Vacationing in National Park locations, lakes and mountains are rural and typically attract guests who want to explore activities outside and what nature has to offer. We and many of the properties near the Park do not have stable internet - that is a part of the Wild West and National Parks system. We do have direct TV in the cabins so our guests do have that option for evening entertainment, though I would rather suggest going outside and look at the incredible stars that are not visible in the city or even town. While we have spent staggering amounts of money to improve the internet, it just simply is not possible in the area. We are at 6,700 ft elevation and have not needed air conditioning in the past, and now we and much of the country is experiencing an unprecedented heat wave. It seems with climate change we will have to look at future options. We are sensitive to the impact of our "carbon footprint" which is why we chose to install the sleek and modern dispensers in the bathroom instead of all those little plastic bottles; we and many other hospitality properties have switched, (it is a conscious decision of our impact on the environment and not a monetary savings) in fact we purchase a premium product for those dispensers and many of our guests have inquired about them because they have loved the fragrance and quality of the product. Proudly Montana is about a more rugged and adventurous experience, I think you would find many other properties to have similar issues of unstable internet and no A/C in Montana.
