There was a parking garage next to the hotel to park in. We parked there and our car was broken in to and window broken. When I reported it to the hotel manager and pointed out the 24 hour surveillance camera signs, she indicated that the city put the signs up only as a deterrent but that there weren’t really cameras. I was excited about staying in old town Wichita but wouldn’t do it again or recommend it.

Wichita Old Town is such a cool place. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times before, but this time was a real disappointment. Staff was very unfriendly at check-in. Renovations were happening, which is understandable, but no accommodations were made to compensate for the inconvenience of a reduction in services. A request for a late check-out time was meant with irritation. And everything seemed tired and run-down. Very disappointed.
