The staff worked really hard to please us, especially around the beach. Great Service by hard-working people. The food was just OK. Beggest improvements can be done at dinner time. One thing I really did not like is that when for the dinner they had to change the white table cloth and it was not ironed.... with a ton of wrinkles and awful looking in general. I would suggest not even put those ones on and leave the tables blank as they are for breakfast. If you do want to have an impression at the dinner time and have the white table cloth on with the cloth napkin, please make sure you have enough supply of them that are ironed and looked appropriatley.

The Allegro is located on the best section of beach on the island, nothing but sand and awesome sunsets. If you like long walks on the beach this is the perfect place, you can walk for miles in either direction. The staff is friendly and works hard to make sure you have a great stay. If you like to dive Pro-Dive Cozumel is on site, great experienced staff and crew. This was our forth time, perfect spot to ring in the New Year.

This was my 5th time in Cozumel, first time at Allegro and definitely will not be back. I have stayed at other all-inclusives on the island and they were much better. One of the biggest issues was the food, I am not a picky eater at all but the food at the buffet was terrible! Most of the time it was labeled incorrectly and cold and had terrible flavor. We ate at the Oriental and Mexican restaurant once each because they only let you make 2 reservations per 7 nights, again this to me is terrible service and not what I expect from an all-inclusive. The food at the restaurants was much better than the buffet but for lunch and breakfast the only option was buffet. The next issue was getting towels, they give you towel cards when you check in that you are supposed to go exchange for towels the only problem is everyday when we went to get towels we were told they had no clean towels and were always told it would be "15 minutes" we waited several hours and weren't able to get towels for 3 days. I can't say how the dive shop was because the weather wasn't great while we were there and the port was closed so the dive shop was closed. The facility is nice and seemed clean for the most part, the staff was friendly although not very helpful most of the time. There is also a new state law in Quintana Roo that they cannot serve alcohol until 12pm so be aware of that. Overall we had a great time in Cozumel just not at this resort, I would definitely not recommend this place!

The resort layout was pretty convenient and easy to find your way around. The lack of air conditioning in the restaurants was not very comfortable while eating and the food was average in taste. The bar tenders at the swim up bar were not very quick to offer drinks for those in the pool.

Very comfortable and clean. Beautiful property. Food selection at restaurants was great. Omelettes in the morning were fantastic. My only criticism would be that the Kids area was closed multiple times with no explanation.

I didn’t like that you could only use the snorkel gear for 1 hour. The food was geared toward other countries.... we did survive but was pretty blah. We also only got 1 of the 2 reservations for the restaurant due to being booked.
