The property was not busy with spring breakers. Very family-oriented with a number of activities for both children and adults. The staffs were very kind and happy to guest have returned. Another important factor was safety. The resort had many activities, and the sheer size of the property kept us busy the whole week, and we did not need to leave the resort. However, we did leave to explore on our second visit. The property also provided excellent food(personal favorite: Los Tacos, Tavola, and Habibi)and drinks(Alcohol included). We had the opportunity to upgrade to the walk-up pool, and we enjoyed our pool and room services. Big shout out to a great staff named Santiago Manuel, who works as a supervisor in bowling. Thank you so making our stay so wonderful. We hope you were able to work outside the bowling area so that other guests can see how amazing of a staff the Grand Moon has in hand. It was nice to have met you, and I hope to see you once again. If the company hires ten more of you, there will be no angry guest...but if an angry guest comes to see you, they will walk away with a smile and a great compliment such as this!

This resort exceeded my expectations! Great service and friendly staff. The issues that some reviews noted look like they have been properly corrected. Everything was amazing including the food. We were traveling with our twin toddlers and everyone was accommodating. Great family trip :)

While the Grand at Moon Palace was very nice - we paid the extra money to stay there because of the water park. We were VERY disappointed to find out that you have to be 5' 3"' and above to ride the 2 out of the three water slides. My kids were very disappointed. Even I could not ride the slides! I splurged because of the slides and was not able to use them. Since kids could not ride the slides the lazy river was jammed packed with kids playing in it and not enjoyable or lazy at all. Without the slides I would have spent much less on the hotel. There was no disclosure that the slides were for 5" 3" and up. Nice hotel but still very disappointed. Also - we had to wait past check in to get out room and when were we hot and tired and FINALLY going to our room - they tried to sell me a time share. The timing could not have been worse. While it is a lovely hotel I spend the extra money for the water slides for my kids. Go for the hotel - not for the water slides.

Second time at the Moon Palace and this time it was over the top. It has been completely renovated since the first time and truly was magical. Will definitely go back this time booking the room with the private pool. Outstanding!!!

Very nice hotel

Very nice place, food is really good. However, don't go there for the beach, you will not like it, full of seaweed and the water is brown. Also, the water slides are not opened, get the free passes to go to Ventura park instead. You can go at the Beach Palace for a great beach where your all-inclusive benefits are valid. They have many nice pools and the staff is nice.

Family Vacation

This was our first trip with our daughter so we were a little more in tune with family friendliness and comfort. Overall the hotel was beatiful, short 10 min cab ride from the airport, the staff as a whole was nothing but kind and accomodating. Now for some details, rooms are supposed to be ready at 3pm so we scheduled our arrival for that time as no one wants to sit around waiting for a room after hours of travel with a toddler.... we did just that.... didn’t get our room until 5pm. The room we were given was also not the one we booked. We asked for a swim up with two beds and got a room with a king, not ideal when your child needs their own bed to sleep in. Jessica in public relationsions although a bit sceptical at first heard my concerns and got us into the correct room by 7pm. We travelled off peak so they most definitely had available rooms, I wonder what the wait is like when the resort is full. The housekeeping was lovely, several days they hadn’t come by noon (we left our room around 8am) and then the room wasn’t cleaned as we would be back by 12 or so. Some of those days they came for a turn down service, we always had plenty of towels etc.The kids club at The Grand is spectacular. The buffets are ok but limited options, the specialty restaurants are delicious! The Spa is the best I have been to on vacation,Mariam gave an amazing massage! Overall i would recommend the resort but not for those wanting an ocean swim, truly an enormous amount of seaweed+rough current.
