There were so many things wrong with our room, for starters the curtain had a large, obvious tear, the lamp had black, electrical tape holding it together, the lamp shade was stained and torn, the bathroom had a used wash cloth left over from previous guest-it was stiff as a board, rusty items in the bathroom, stains on carpet, bed springs so the bed was not very comfy, the hot tub was broken. With so much neglect they should waive parking fees at the very least, do something! Or be upfront about the condition of the rooms. I understand Marriott will be taking over but they’re still open and that is not the experience I paid for. I’ll be emailing with photos I took because it was unbelievable. Also, there was a power strip with several items plugged in to it, microwave, refrigerator, TV, lamp..I’ve never seen that at a hotel, felt like a fire waiting to happen. For peace of mind, I unplugged it when we went to sleep. Almost forgot several of the dresser drawers were broken, couldn’t open them as well as visible damage to the dresser. I didn’t use it but was another broken item in the room.
On the upside, the indoor pool was good, which is why we chose the hotel and it was quiet at night.
