It is a standard 2 star facility. Staff was very helpful but it is pretty run down. It looks like it is managed on a lower budget policy. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The included breakfast was really good and varied. It saved us a lot of time getting to the slopes. Having an elevator to haul our ski gear up to the room was great. Wish the jacuzzi had been working for after ski. Location is excellant but unfinished lot next door made walking to shops and store uncomfortable.

The hot water was very unpredictable. The bathroom nobs and fixtures were stiff, hard to use, chipped, broken and had some rust. The hair dryer did not work. The HVAC was noisy and somewhat difficult to set to make the room temperature comfortable. The breakfast room was much too small to accommodate the number of residents. The pool and hot tub heater did not operate.

We have been to the Shilo Hotel many times but this time was a bad experience. No hot water, hair dryer broken, big stain under the sink, hot tub Luke warm and no food at breakfast.
