This is an older hotel, but everything was clean and the beds were super comfy. The highlight of our stay was the staff. They were so helpful and friendly. They shuttled us to downtown. My 5 year old told us he would like to be friends with our shuttle driver. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us at the train. It was great to see the staff's smiling faces every day. Breakfast was included which is worth over $50 in Anchorage for a family of three. I would stay here again, thank you so much!

This property should not be an option for Travelocity . This hotel probably should have been bulldozed 30 years ago. It appeared to be a homeless shelter in a questionable neighborhood. Behind the front desk check-in area, a mass of wires were hanging from the ceiling.The tub, somehow had been lifted which made getting out of it dangerous, causing me to fall. A pair of men's shorts was hanging from the pipes under the sink. If it were not so late and cold, I would have tried to find somewhere else to stay.

heating system was cold and noisy, lever for shower didn't work. had to ask for new towels, moved to different room first night with limited sleep.

Door was hard to open securit chain missing, little or no hot water, staff lacked courtesy, maintenance problems reported were ignored. Overall very disapointed in this property. Will not stay here again.

Room was clean. However AC was not working. They kept reset the breaker three times over span of a few hours but it quit again in the middle of the night. Could not open the window because it had no screen and cottonwood was flying in whenever we did open it. Very disappointed for a Ramada.

The floor in room was disgusting. My socks had to be thrown away from the filth they picked up.

I did not like the loss of two bags which were put in ticketed storage for two days and the night between to allow a quick trip to another town between state at the Ramada in Anchorage. Bringing back the claim stubs resulted in finding that the bags could not found, and the claim that the bags seem to have been given to someone else according to the security video in the storage area. The night manager deferred to the day manager and she now to the owners, claiming that things were ‘dicey’ with someone showing up with pictures of the claim stubs, which could not be the case since they were only on my wallet since checking the bags in and my trying to get the bags back. This is very upsetting Otherwise the washing machine did not work, the bed was not prepared correctly, the coffee pot in the second room did not work, the maid never showed up on the first day of the initial stay, and so on. It seems everyone was in training and sufficient staff was not available which led to the baggage loss problem (?)
