Had to wait an hour after checking time to go to a room that the sheets were filthy!! The rugs were disgusting. Went to management and she went to look and agreed! Had to drive 2 hours to find another hotel everything was full ruined my day! asked to be refunded she said call travocity and i’ll release the money.

The staff are very pleasant and friendly. The grounds are very clean and kept up. The room was clean and quiet, however, the mattresses were old and lumpy and the tile on the bathroom floor was loose and coming up. The towels were clean but very rough. There was a microwave and fridge in the room but no cups, etc.

The rugs were very dirty, the sheets were stained and the bedding in need of a serious upgrade. There was hair on the bathroom walls and waited a long time for hot water. Only stayed here because all hotels in the area were booked but this was a big disappointment for $177 a night. We didn’t chance the free breakfast due to the uncleanliness of the place. Smelled weed the entire night, which was honestly better than the musty room. The staff however was very friendly, especially Liz. You can find better if staying in this area.

The room was spacious and included a jacuzzi tub and a fireplace. The property could use either some new asphalt or at least repairs to it.

First the breakfast which was a big draw has been eliminated. Towel service was poor. Only one light and chair in the room. The upstairs window only had a sheer curtain. Bathroom had no place to put toiletries and both fossettes leaked. The location was very handy to many services.

We was given a room that wasn’t even cleaned yet. Had to wait an hour before someone got back to me and got us another room that was actually clean. They didn’t even offer a discount or anything for all of the trouble

The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, ee couldn't take advantage of the free continental breakfast because we had to get back on the road before 7 am. Also, there were no hangers in the closet to hang our coats and the heat in the room was uncontrollable, fircing us to keep the window open to cool down the room.

Thank you for staying at The Vacationland Inns. We are happy you enjoyed the staff and accommodations. Sorry to hear about the temperature being out of wack. This temperamental Maine weather puts a real strain on our heating and cooling systems. So its hard to get each room exactly where our guests want it. We do recommend that if its too hot for our guests that they open up our screened-in windows to elevate the heat. We hope to see you again soon.
