The property was clean and the room was very large. The facility is a little dated but well- maintained. The only downside was that they did not have any premium cable channels like HBO.

The view from our balcony was gorgeous. I liked the transportation shuttle from the parking lot into Bar Harbor and Acadia park. That was very helpful since it was crowded in town and hard to park. One down side is that this inn as merged with the blue nose inn. We got there at night and it was very difficult to navigate around the parking lot or where to find check in.

We were running out of known options for this stay and although we subsequently discovered many options were available the Wonder View was, after all, available, inexpensive and has an accommodating and nice staff. It’s an aged place.

Motel needs to be torn down

Pros: nothing
Cons: tear it down
Location: bar harbor is beautiful
Will never stay here again. Rooms are beyond tired - way too old.

older hotel but well kept

Pros: Very close to town and on a loop of seven shuttles which take you into Northeast Harbor, Bar Harbor, Acadia and almost anywhere else you want to go
Cons: Booking on something besides Travelocity. The hotel was booking for less when we got there than I paid going through Travelocity last December.
Location: walking distance to everything
The hotel was what we expected for an upper coast Maine Hotel. It was older yet fit our needs. There were complimentary shuttles and breakfast every day that was not advertised when we booked. There is a heated pool and they have access to larger facilities across the street. We were there to explore so the hotel was not the priority. That said I would book it again.
