Great cabin stay
The cabin our family stayed at in Eagles Nest was lovely. The location and neighborhood were great. Our cabin was a 2 in 1 which fit our needs perfectly. There was a main cabin and an apartment cabin that was great.

Great location and layout.
Location and beautiful views. Property was set up perfect for our family and grandparents stayed in the cabin above the garage. Unfortunately, we did not have elk river access since we were not members. There is a ton of construction going on so during the week days there is a lot of construction vehicles and construction noise in the area. We did have a bear right off the front deck which was cool! Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels and follow driving instructions as your GPS will get you lost. This property is right across the street from one of the parks so it was great for the kids to have that within walking distance from the cabin. Overall this rental was great and we will return.

Relaxing cabin in a great development
We rented the cabin for a month and it is just like what you see in the pictures. Very cozy but great cabin in a huge development. The managers were responsive when there was a small issue with the hot tub and it was fixed within two days. Great change of scenery for the family.

Very nice place, but very small
They had told us there was construction around the area but we didn't think it was right beside us, and they worked on Thanksgiving day! It was mostly clean but there were a few small things. The second bedroom had zero heat. No heat was so ever, you had to leave the door open and hope the heat from the living room went in to the bedroom. There were also receptacles that didn't work. The bathroom has some things left in the tub. The dishes were washed but not really clean. There was some small pieces of food in the fridge. The hot tub was very dirty. I don't think they have cleaned it in a while. Leaves were clogging up the filters, this left everything else in the water. The cabin looked bigger than it was in the pictures. Next time I will check the square footage. For a small family it should be ok. On a good note it was well decorated, the internet worked very good. The TV was hung a little high but worked well. Around the area was very clean, which was nice seeing how they allowed dogs. The view was very nice but will sadly deteriorate as they build more cabins around it. Check in and communication was very easy. All in all not a bad place, just not somewhere we will be going back to, mostly due to size.

Well equipped little cabin
The cabin and over garage apartment were clean and well equipped. Everything went smoothly to find and check in- the owners gave great directions and were responsive to questions. Definitely pay attention to the note about construction in this area. This is the only finished home and there are about 30 more under construction all around it. Trucks and workers around from 7 am - 8 pm. Not very relaxing if you try to stay around the cabin or use the deck/hot tub. The lawn is overgrown and there are construction materials stacked all around. Once that finished, this will likely be a much nicer place. We opted to drive the 20 minutes out of the development and go hike or find activities to do away from the cabin during the days for this reason. However, as I said, the hosts were great and the cabin comfortable, so we had a good trip.

Peace & tranquility
Summer vacation with my family! This is a lovely mountain cabin with everything we needed. Beds are very comfy! The views on this mountain are stunning! The people & neighbors were very friendly, nice & helpful. This is a really fun place! We saw lots of deer, frogs, wild turkey & the neighbors saw a black bear just down the road at dusk. Even though it’s under construction, we still found peace & tranquility. I would come back if I’m ever in the area again.

Relaxing, cute place to stay at Eagles Nest.
We ran up to Eagles Nest for a quick get away. We enjoyed our stay very much. Two separate cabins was perfect for our party. The main cabin was cozy and we loved the fireplace and took advantage of the hot tub. It was very cold outside during our stay and we had to keep the fire going to stay warm and dry. The newer cabin above the garage is lovely and my mother-in-law and 5 year old daughter loved staying there. Overall, this is a great value for the price. Both cabins are clean and are a great spot to gather in between your activities. Our hosts were great!

Great Space! AWD Vehicle is a MUST
Joseph and Aleli were great hosts! They were very quick to respond and help us with what we needed. The property was stunning and the views driving to and from in the sunset were incredible. I would say a 4WD car is REQUIRED to get to and off of the property. Like...not an option. We struggled badly after it snowed with a front-wheel-drive and almost had to call a towing company (but the kind construction workers next door towed us out!). It was super cozy and secluded and had everything we needed on site. We cooked several meals and the cabins are full of board games, a Roku and movies to keep you busy while you're not on the slopes! Location is about a 20-30 min drive to Beech Mtn
