Old facility with much needed repairs. One room had wires visible with electric sockets. If it wasn't for the location, we would probably have left the night we checked in

So many issues - when we got to hotel they did not have our reservation despite us giving them confirmation number- they took ID and credit card as soon as we got there and then left us waiting over 15 mins despite us asking for ID and card back and refund since they did not have room available. They told us they could not refund our money. After 30 mins I was given back my ID and credit card and said they had a room for us. While waiting we had tried to find another room else were without success. When room was booked we booked with dog to get hotel and get charged a $100 fee for having dog. When they did get a room for us the room was definitely not what we had seen online and had an awful odor. Also needed to go to desk to get toilet paper for the bathroom since I didn’t have any. A/C or cooling unit as they called it did not work. Property was by the road which we thought would be loud but was not a problem we could not even hear the road over all the noise in the hotel . Only good thing I can say is when we said we would not be staying the second night they did tell us we could contact t Travelocity to get a refund for second night

The property was conveniently located across the street from the bus stop. The room was simple and clean, all that you can ask for. Only complaint is that breakfast felt a bit lacking in options. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay.

We only needed a place to stay for one night, so my main focus was making sure reviews did not focus on an unclean room/motel. Give the reviews, I was confident the room would be clean, but didn’t have much other hopes. I was so wrong. Our stay was wonderful! Many of the negative reviews here are unfair. It’s a 2 star motel for half the price of the surrounding hotels. If you are looking for 4 star accommodations, you’ll have to pay for them. I did not consider the Days Inn dated, and while there are some areas that may need updating, the overall look was pleasing. Almost every room has an ocean view over the ferry terminal and we enjoyed sitting outside our room talking to other guests and enjoying the view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Best of all, the free bus to downtown stops right across the street. We had a blast during our stay and will definitely return!
