There was a parade around the hotel so we couldn’t get to the hotel till it was over about an hour later. We checked in through the app but couldn’t get in the room till we checked in at the front desk. There was a flood light right outside the window which pointed directly at the building. The light came in the room around the curtains. Breakfast was fair. We use to be able to order what we wanted but was told we could only pick from what was already there. Room was nice, hot tub needed cleaning.

The hotel is squeaky clean and staff is friendly and helpful. I wasn’t too fond of the soft squishy pillows but that’s a small complaint. I can fully recommend staying here.

Fire Alarm goes off at 2:40am!

Pros: location
Cons: Fix the fire alarm and ensure full service room cleaning/resupply.
Two nights in a row the fire alarm went off at 2:40am. Hotel staff made no proactive efforts to alert guests to issues or that there was no actual emergency. The first morning they were apologetic, the second not so much. Also, maid staff did not resupply coffee materials two days in a row.

Overnight stay in Bartlesville, OK

Pros: See above
Cons: The shower tub floor was slick and the air conditioning unit in the room was noisy.
Location: Downtown Bartlesville, OK
Easy and quick check-in. Room was ready early and was very nice and clean. The entire facility appeared to be clean, efficient and well staffed. The pool area was clean and comfortable. Dining was clean, well staffed and the food was really good. I would definitely stay there again.

No Travelocity reservation!

Pros: Everything
Cons: Travelocity reliability
Location: Across the street from restaurants and shopping
Hotel was incredible but they did not have our Travelocity reservation. Luckily there were rooms available and we got one for the same price as Travelocity (which was their regular rate). Will not use Travelocity again because who knows if I have a room when I get to my destination?

Had a great experience at HGI

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed the warm cookies offered in the late afternoons and fresh coffee / hot tea. The selection of coffee and tea were wonderful. I sat by the fireplace, read a magazine, while sipping on flavored coffee. Really relaxing! The bed was wonderful, you can adjust how soft/hard to want the mattress. Bedding and linens were nice too. Large room and bathroom, toiletries were replenished daily. The blow dryer really dried my hair quickly, not like some hotel blow dryers, and I have really long hair. The only thing I would have enjoyed more was for the a/c fan to come on more. It was a little hard to figure out how to get it cooler. It wasn't hot but at night, I like air circulating more. Great experience - will definitely come back again!
