This place should be shut down. The rooms smell musty and awful. The carpet was sticky. I had to wash the residue off the bottom of my feet. The refrigerator had not been cleaned out. I only stayed their one night and then moved to the Best Western across the street. I strongly recommend avoiding the Holiday Home in Port Arthur TX.

It was a very quick and smooth check-in and check-out. I did put an "OK" on amenities only because there really weren't any because of Covid19. I am talking about the pool, free breakfast, etc. Oh! I was offered free WIFI but we didn't use it. It was a very large and clean room with all the standard amenities. TV w/ cable, microwave, fridge but again, we stayed one night and didn't use them. They did have a Koenig coffee maker which was OK. Bed was king-sized and nice/firm. The comforter was great - very light but very warm. Good part was that the hotel was across the street from a couple of restaurants with good food especially breakfast. It was a very good hotel for the price and I would definitely stay again. And again, the only issue I had was with problems that comes with Covid19 and not the hotel. I understand they can't offer some of the things they normally could.

Pros: Staff
Cons: Adhere to regular maintenance of the rooms
Location: Plenty of places near by to shop or eat
Outlets did not work or were coming out the wall, staff was friendly
