Where are the lights?

Cons: Room lighting, see above
Location: Convenient to I-70 and McDonalds
Entering our room, the wall switch did not operate any light. None of the three lamps nor the clock that were plugged into the wall at the head of the bed would work. Luckily there were lights on the opposite wall and in the bathroom that worked. The man at the desk said all of the electrical in the room was on one circuit breaker, so that if any of the lights worked, it would not have been a tripped breaker. He gave me a couple of light bulbs to try replacing the ones in the lamps. The new bulbs did not work. We managed with the lights that did operate. That being said the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked very well and the room was clean.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

My husband, a friend, and I stayed at this hotel last night after completing a Spartan Race. We were filthy and needed a good shower and a clean bed. I requested a non-smoking first floor room due to an injury I sustained on the race course, he told me NO. No explanation, just no. There were NO towels in the room, the bathroom was DIRTY!!!, one bed didn't have a sheet, the sink/ mirror area had obviously not been cleaned and there was used soap on the counter. On the back of the bathroom door there was something spilt along with toothpaste. When my husband went down and asked for towels he was given one towel, one hand towel, and one washcloth. The washcloth was dirty. The refrigerator in the room was dirty with sticky stuff. The floor had mud on it. The curtains were hung with a clothes hanger. All other hotels were sold out so we slept there, but it was the nastiest thing I've ever slept in.... and I've slept outside with just a blanket! Speaking to the guy at the desk would have been a waist of time after the attitude I was given over asking for the first floor and non-smoking! Let alone the towel issue.

Everything was good for the price. Room clean, plenty of parking, staff friendly.
