Looking for a great family vacation rental? This house will satisfy the whole family! This older charmer is a great place to relax, take out the boat, fish from the back yard, bbq and just sit on the large, covered patio and chill out with your favorite beverage! Plenty of parking makes it easy after putting your boat on the water just come back and park your boat trailer. There is a boat dock with tie downs so you can just leave the boat on the lake and come and go when you want. The boat launch to use is Inks Lake boat launch with fee.

There are 3 large bedrooms. First bedroom has queen bed and small desk. Second bedroom has queen bed, twin and one set of twin bunks. Third bedroom is off of large bathroom and has queen bed and lots of board games for the family. There are 2 full bathrooms one with jacuzzi tub and separate shower one with walk in shower no tub.

The backyard has lots of green grass and large shade trees. There is a large, covered patio with bbq and outside seating. Come enjoy all the activities the Hill Country has to offer!

Great stay on the lake.
House was clean, pretty well stocked with items you may have forgotten, and the dock was perfect for keeping our boat on the water the entire trip. Location was amazing. House was a little outdated, but the A/C was cold and it had all the amenities. Would 100% stay again. A previous review mentioned no propane for the grill- they now have 2 tanks, so you are set to grill.

Weekend getaway
The location, proximity to the lake, and outdoor space were superb! The house itself is much older than the pictures represent. There was a constant sewage smell, the grill caught on fire because it was not cleaned out from previous use, and we were unable to locate a large trash can outside to dispose of our trash. I reached out to the property manager to inquire about early check in; I did get a response that it would depend on the cleaning schedule… but never heard a word after that. We enjoyed being able to hang/swim in the lake right off the dock, but the house itself needs some major updates.

July 4th Getaway
Property was older than the photos reflect, but very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need minus the food. There were lots of board games and air hockey to keep everyone entertained indoors. We were disappointed with the fishing dock due to the low tide and the heavy moss. The location is central to the lakes in Central Texas, not to mention great restaurants. We really enjoyed our short getaway.

Perfect Family Getaway
This house was a perfect family getaway! The house is right on the lake with amazing views from the living room, dining room and kitchen. Easy access to the lake. Beautiful backyard patio to sit and drink your coffee in the morning while watching the wildlife on the lake and in the yard. The house was well stocked with towels, blankets, and kitchen utensils, spices even coffee filters. An entire closet with rafts, life jackets and a kickboard for the lake. Very clean and exceeded our expectations!

Inks Lake is a great lake, and the section of the lake that this house is on is perfect. However, I wouldn't stay here again. The house is a bit dated and overgrown (exposed wiring, broken tiles, tissue paper filling holes in the wall, dirty blinds, gate was overgrown with bushes, which made moving things to the water difficult, fire ant piles that hadn't been treated, etc.). The 3rd bedroom also requires you to go through the 2nd bedroom, which eliminates any privacy of the 2nd bedroom. The biggest issue was the goose poop. While the geese are prevalent, it was clear that little effort had been done to clean up the poop before we arrived. Getting to the water was a minefield, and the deck needed to be cleared of baked poop. Grill was new and worked well. Overall, wouldn't stay at this location again.

Nice stay
We had a nice weekend stay with our kids. I would update the listing though to say you will have to tie off your boat to the pier - it’s not easy to make a stop at the house when out on the water. However we made it work. Our kids loved the air hockey!
