I understand this is a modest motel in a rural location. The noise from the highway was considerable. My bed vibrated and made noise all night long and I could not figure out how to turn it off. The window unit heater was fierce and the room was more comfortable without it. The shower is very short and the towels are much too small for a large man. I appreciate the price but this hotel is rated much too high online and the high rating is false and wrong.

This was like sleeping on the median strip of the highway. You could hear every car passing on the 4-lane highway. We were 3 rooms away. That noise was only exceeded by the window/wall A/C unit that came on every 5 minutes. The owners need to understand to fill up the room furthest from the highway where it might be quieter and where their living quarters are. I felt sorry for the guy they put right next to the highway. Maybe they need to insulate the rooms better to keep the sound out. There was a dead spider in the tub and dust bunnies fell out of the vent over the sink when I turned the light on. I had to bend over to wash my hair in the shower because the shower head was so low and I'm only 5'2". I would never ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
