trash cans were all full around the resort (as they call it) for days on end the week we were there. Granite was missing a big piece (broke) right in front of the kitchen sink. Glass stove top had a big crack in it. I was afraid to us it. Our toilet seat was broke, so we went to home depot ourselves and put a new one one. I also cleaned the entire place (except for dusting) with lysol foaming bleach cleaner. the pool was nice and the sheets and towels were clean, they had clean bleach scent to them. The beach are is very nice. the RESTURANT IS NOT OPEN and who knows if it will ever be. I don't know if they have any nicer updated units. But the property looks pretty if you don't see the trash.

Upon arriving at this beach club we were walking to our bungalow passing the pool so we decided to check it out. The pool was so green we couldn’t see the bottom. Our bungalow was from the 1960’s with a microwave, fridge, small coffee maker and a hot plate for cooking. We had no idea the location required a car rental or taxi to do anything. Amenities: no WiFi, no paddles for kayaks and water boards. No restaurant!! If you want total peace and quiet and to cook for yourself, this is the place for you.

It is important to know that while the address may say Christiansted, it is a 15 minute drive to the town. There is no restaurant, no bar, no activities of any kind. You cannot walk to any restaurants or shops. The only restaurant that could be considered walking distance is down a narrow road with no shoulder, it would be very dangerous to walk on it. If you are staying here, you really, really need to rent a car. Cabs are very expensive, you can't always get one, and the drivers are rude. Be sure to stop at a grocery to get breakfast and snack stuff and even dinner things if you want to eat in. The rooms are nearly all free-standing cabins with kitchenettes (no ovens) (a few are like duplexes). They are dated, and damaged, most of our outlets were missing covers, which would have been terrifying if we'd had kids with us. Housekeeping does a fairly decent job keeping them clean, but don't expect them to change our your sheets or towels, even after several days, unless you ask. We had two beds, a king and a queen. The queen mattress was so awful we couldn't even sit on it, so we shared the king, which had a fine mattress. The beach is nice. The water is extremely calm and shallow for a long way out. Bring water shoes as you need to really pick your way around rocks and sea grass to stay on a sandy bottom. The office is only staffed from 8-4, so if you need anything outside of that your only hope is to try to raid the "laundry" building which is adjacent to the parking lot.

I found Shermine Cuffy who works at the front desk to be very helpful. She secured a cleaner, better fixed up cottage for us after a horrific night in a dirty room adjacent to a person who had his TV up full volume until 3:30 a.m. The facilities are all closed - it seems as though nothing has been done to make the place attractive since the 2017 hurricane Maria.

I wanted the place in the pictures

Pros: The person at the front desk was helpful when I had to print something. I did like the staff at the restaurant and the pool was nice!
Cons: There's plenty of room for improvement. Fix the cracks around the floor boards and monitor bugs. Get rid of the awful blanket on the bed it sheds.
This was my first time traveling out of the states, so I was excited but not sure what to expect. I didn't expect the room to have so many bugs, which I'm not a fan of. We were eating dinner in the room when I seen a few cockroach and sent my husband after it, which it evaded capture and when under the floor board. I spent our second night watching my son to make sure nothing was crawling on him. When I talked to management, the reply was, "It was the tropics, I had to expect bugs, the exterminator comes once a month." Two of us have bruises on our legs from the bed post that sticks out the side. At no time prior to my trip, did I think we would have a room at the top of a hill. Each time we wanted to go somewhere, we'd have to climb up hill, which even exhausted my toddler at times. The hotel was not a close to anything. We had to take a shuttle everywhere, that ended up costing more than a rental. There at least 6 cats roaming the property and some dogs. I went to take a walk on the beach one morning and I was unable to because one of the dogs started growling and barking at me. Several places in St. Croix that were beautiful, I was very disappointed with the lodging and I wish I chose another place.

The Resort has individual two units cabines

Pros: Simple, no frills, easy access to other places , eating was a big part of it, close by restaurants.
Cons: Travelocity needs to get a hold of AVIS car rental, in St. Croix they overbooked, we had to higher another local company, Centerline, very good respon
Location: There are lots of historic places, scuba-diving, boating, rain forest, plantation museum, botanical garden was excellent.
This resort is for basic accommodations, nothing fancy. It was clean and the staff was very accommodating and basically responding to any needs. The canines are positioned on an uphill setting, the front row had ocean view. Over all any cabin was within couple of minutes from a lovely beach with beautiful view. I will rated as medium comfort, all furniture is very old but beading was changed daily and was totally acceptable. This place had a very nice location and was very quite in the evenings. Friendly family setup. I would go there aging, prices were good. Had a bit of trouble with car rental, overbooked.
