Everything was fine just unfortunate timing for us here. We were put on the third floor next to the stairs. A group of what sounded like 100 high school kids arrived at 9pm and literally ran around and yelled til about 11 then were up leaving at 6 am. We heard every step and rolling luggage both in and out. Wish we were above them or not next to the stairs. Nothing we can do to get that sleep back but maybe in the future I’ll ask for top floor room myself.

We apologize that the kids were loud. It just so happened that that was our largest group of young travelers all summer long, and they happened to arrive later in the evening during your one-night stay.

Just sorry we were there two nights. Jackson area is beautiful but obviously just out for the $$$.

I'm sorry that the prices of Teton Village were such an issue. Unfortunately the area we are located in, at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and just outside the entrance to Teton National Park, is a very expensive location. We work hard to make sure we have the most reasonable prices possible, the next cheapest accommodation being $300+ more.

The Hostel experience more than takes care of travelers who want rest, simple accommodations, and a community experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee and tea available in the lobby.

The room is exactly as described. It was clean and spacious. Location is great, there are many places to eat in the area and the entrance to the Grand Teton National Park is very close. My dislikes are 1: there are no elevators and 2: there isn’t a TV in the room. This is my first time staying in a Hostel and I would stay here again. If you need a place to sleep in, it is a pleasant place to do so.

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. As an older wooden building, we unfortunately can not now provide an elevator, though we do our best to accommodate those who might have trouble with the stairs on our lower floors, and will help with luggage if necessary. While it would be nice to have TVs in the rooms, they would unfortunately be quite disturbing to one's neighbors, again due to the wood construction. We do, however, provide a couple TVs in our common area/game room, which provides an opportunity to mingle with guests from around the world. Hopefully we will see you again.

Don't be fooled by the name "Hostel" - this is a great little hotel! If you don't need all the bells and whistles this has everything you need, and you have access to all the other "high end" stuff the other hotels offer within the Teton Village complex! It was clean, comfortable and best of all AFFORDABLE. Offers a fun game room and community style kitchen. Bus service is available to downtown Jackson Hole.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. We like to offer basic, affordable accommodations amidst the high-end properties of Teton Village, but with the same access to JHMR and the National Parks as places charging 2x-5x as much! Hopefully we will see you again.
