Come and stay in "The Bunkhouse" one of our cabins nestled on the bank of the Rio Grande River. "The Nest" vrbo 2575573 and "Picabo Place" vrbo 2260903 are also located on the property for larger groups. Enjoy 1/3 of a mile of private river fishing access right outside the door. Fly Fishing only. Stay in this historic cabin and enjoy the original cook stove, newly remodeled bathhouse steps from your door (please note your private bathroom is located in the bathhouse, a short distance from your cabin), comfy new beds, small kitchen stocked for your cooking needs, outdoor grill and access to washer and dryer. Only 2 miles from Historic Creede for shopping, dining, Bachelor Loop tour, Creede Reperatory Theatre, numerous adventures close by such as hiking, biking, site seeing or simply relaxing.

Great location and stay
We loved the location of this home. Right on the Rio Grande with access to Creede and all of Southern Colorado. Beautiful in the summer time. House is small with no door separating the kitchen/living and bedroom. Not an issue for us, just keep that in mind if you have little ones. Home owners were very friendly and lit a fire for us the first night. They live in the big house next to this one. Bathroom (separate building) was very clean and stocked. Overall a fantastic place and amazing views. Thank you for having us!

Nice river property
The river front was beautiful. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable, but it had uneven floors and the bathroom is 10 yards away but very nice. To be on the river and ATV with my grandsons and see a bear and four moose on the Rat Creek trail…. It was worth every penny!

Wonderful Get-Away
We had a wonderful stay at the "Bunkhouse." The house was rustic, clean, well-stocked with cooking needs. Very comfortable. Bathroom very nice!! Also well stocked with towels and shampoo and lotion. We loved spending the morning by the stream, relaxing with a cup of coffee. Will definitely schedule a return visit. We loved it! Thank you.

From the beginning of this booking when I had to change the dates, the home owner was very accommodating. Communication was easy! The house was so close to the water, it was beautiful and private. We could not have asked for a better stay!! The bath house is a separate building and I was worried about privacy but absolutely no issue. My husband and I and our 3 grown boys unplugged, sat by the water, made a fire-pit and played cards, had coffee outside while we played dominoes and cooked some local groceries we picked up while in town. Thank you!

Beautiful off the grid river stay
Beautiful place right on the river and a very short drive from downtown Creede. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Husband said fishing was great; caught rainbows, brooks, and browns, including a few personal bests.
