This place was a true surprise. It is a little off the beaten Interstate track, but it is well worth the diversion. The check in process was seemless, and the room was very clean with a wildlife animal decor. As you might guess the restaurant menu is heavy on local game, but there is a good selection for everyone and the service is excellent. This lodge was a great find and we would stay there again in a heartbeat, and more than 1 night.

I booked at Custer State Park Game Lodge and our red station was moved to Creekside Lodge. I would not have paid that much to stay there. I was under the impression we were staying at the main lodge, nowhere in the reservation did it say Creekside lodge.

We do apologize for your confusion. The room you picked with the 2 queens and sofa sleeper is only at the Creekside lodge. These lodges are considered the same property and the Creekside lodge has larger rooms for more family members. We do hope you enjoyed the rest of your visit at the park.

Very beautifl setting and quiet. Did not like the lack of WiFi service. Only available in the lobby or bar. Made it difficult to maintain contact with family members. Very important!

Room not ready at posted check-in time. Phone in room did not work. Refrigerator, despite adjusting to lowest setting, froze all our food.

The State Game Lodge was okay. The rooms are small but comfortable. The bathroom was mostly clean. The vents were nasty and the corners had lots of dust and hair but the restroom facilities were clean. We checked in late to our room because we were waiting on housekeeping, which is fine but we had nowhere to venture off to so we had to hang out in the lobby for an hour and a half after eating at the restaurant. I will probably not stay again. Not worth the price.
