Great room for the price!!

Check-in was fast and employees were very friendly! The room was clean and the bathroom was clean and the shower had great water pressure. It smelled a little when we first went in, but we got the air conditioner going with some fabric softener sheets, came back a few hours later and the smell was gone. The pool was on the small side, 2 & 1/2 feet to 4 & 1/2 feet is the depth I think. But the kids loved every minute of it! We didn't have enough towels & rags for the number of people in our party, but we made due because it was late when we got back in and didn't feel like calling for more. We were a little disappointed that there wasn't any housekeeping on the second day (we stayed two nights). Out trash was overflowing, we only had 2 packages of the complimentary coffee for 3 adults, and no fresh towels. Had to go to the main office to "exchange" our dirty linen, then they delivered new. Not a deal breaker for us, but it would have been nice to have clean towels and not a corner full of trash. Overall, this is a great place to stay. Right off the interstate and close to the mall and lots of restaurants, perk - there is a restaurant that is open 24 hours right beside. Great job guys! Keep up the good work!!

You get what you pay for.

Pros: Close restaurants
Cons: Noisy, Poor breakfast
The staff was great and very helpful. But the room was horrible and not as tidy as I would have thought. Their were stains on the sheets and the pillows were as hard as rocks. Next time I will pay a little more. so I can wake up without pain.

Knights Inn, South Dayton

The hotel accomodations were fair. It was advertised as a non smoking room but we smelled smoke. Clean room, friendly people....the mattress was hard, not for older folks with sore backs. It met our needs for one night. K. enjoyed the swim in the morning.

Good low cost option

Room was clean and okay, but the front desk staff were extemely helpful and friendly. Make sure you tell them you need wireless access, though. The coverage is spotty throughout the motel. They will happily put you in a room with good coverage, you just have to let them know when you check in. Room had fridge and microwave, but I'd trade those in a heartbeat for an in-room coffee maker and alarm clock. I had no issues with safely, but the facility just looks a little shady from the outside, especially at night. Dark Horse Tavern right next door is a big plus. Overall, good value.
