Flights To Italy

What does Italy have to offer?

Step off one of the Italy flights to Rome and enter a world of ancient history and art, modern cosmopolitan culture, and gastronomical delights. The winter weather in Italy is usually fairly mild, so the museums and architecture of Italy's historic cities can be enjoyed at any time of year. Southern Italy enjoys warm Mediterranean weather just about all year long, so a trip here is always a good bet. However, the most pleasant time to be Italy between April and October. The heat can get a bit heavy in August, so unless you relish that sort of weather, it may be best to plan your trip in the cooler mountainous areas.

It should also be noted that many tourism amenities shut down during the summer months while the locals are on holiday, and you therefore may not be able to get in to every hotel or restaurant you've read about. Similarly, some establishments take breaks during the winter, so although you'll likely enjoy thinner crowds of tourists, many museums and other attractions have curtailed hours or may be entirely closed. If you're on a culinary tour of Italy, aim to travel there in the springtime to enjoy the freshest local produce, or visit in the autumn during the grape harvest to enjoy some of the associated festivals.
