Flight Review

Feb 28, 2020

I found the service and the complimentary food astounding, as most airlines do not offer anything. I really commend SAS for their service!

Feb 21, 2020

Great trip, great staff, great price.

Feb 17, 2020

Alitalia failed to transfer my luggage to my last flight.

Feb 16, 2020

The carry on baggage regulations have changed so we had to pay an additional $60.00 to check our bag. Everything else was great.

2 years ago i had a bad experience with SAS airlines and swore never To fly with them again but that was the only direct flight . This time all went well and the pilot who greeted us was a real cutie !

Great flight- in all ways

Jan 1, 2020

Thank goodness for the staff at GRR airport for finding us alternative seats. We bought our tickets in April and selected seats. Our flights were changed a couple of times and we ended up with 2 separate seats in the very back, both in the middle. I was so disgusted with the airlines. You would think your computer system would place a married couple together on a 9 hr flight. AND you had our money for 9 months! You need a new computer system to accommodate the seating.

You made my first leg of my long journey enjoyable! Wonderful United staff at every turn, especially at Chicago O’Hare! Thank you! Blessings for the upcoming 2020 year and new decade!

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Rome

Make your journey to Rome that little bit easier by reading over these helpful tips and pointers:

  • Make sure you know the location of your passport and boarding pass. You don't want to hold up the line when you're asked to present them.
  • Coins, belts and wrist watches are to be put in a tray for X-raying. If you pass through the body scanner with any of these items, you'll be turned back and instructed to remove them.
  • Make sure your laptop and electronic devices are easy to reach. These items need to be sent through the X-ray machine in separate trays.
  • When you approach the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to place all liquids, gels and creams in a separate tray for scanning. Make sure they're all packed in containers smaller than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • The airport security may instruct you to take off your shoes for the body scanner. Wear a pair that you can take off easily. There's nothing more irritating than having to do your laces up over and over again.
  • Some places have strict biosecurity laws. Think about where you're off to and whether or not you're allowed to fly with fresh fruit and other foods.
