When I walked in the door wouldn’t open the bathroom was filthy. The bed was undone. It look like somebody was sleeping in there. The heater did not work. It look like they haven’t vacuumed in the years and someone kept on calling my phone in the room. I actually left and went and bought another hotel not through you guys because the reviews were good on your site, but horrible in real life. I would like a refund please thank you.

Attendent took my. drivers license and made a photo copy that i insisted she give to me with my license. Charge an extra $50 deposit and asked it be cash only. I offered to give my credit card if assured the deposit would be refunded and they said, "only cash is accepted for the deposit". I said cash was not acceptable to me and attendent attempted to reach the manager without success. Could not reach the manager and said she would not require the deposit if i promised not to destroy the room. I get to the room and the door opened without my access key. But it bolted from inside so i was ok. Sheets had a stain that appeared it wasnot changed from the previous guest. I checked the other bed and shhets appeared clean so i stayed in the room. I spilled a small amout of water on carpet and used a towel to soak up the water. Looked at the towel and it was black from the dirty carpet . There was a sign that had a price list charged for items missing after my stay. All the items on the list were not present in the room ($25 alarm clock was missing). Hmm. would never recommend this hotel for a family or business travelor. My impression is its a party hotel. Worst hotel experience ever. Check in policy is not seem appropriate for guests concerned about identity theft. I appreciated the attendent the attendent waiving the hotels policy you keep a copy of y drivers license and require a $50 cash deposit. I was glad i prepaid for the room with travelocity.

Weekend meeting visit to Detroit

Location: Lots of fast food, several nice restaurants, Wal-mart and other plenty other shopping within about several blocks.
Selected this motel after searching with Travelocity for price, distance of travel to my meeting and places to eat. Ample parking with wide spots, building showing some age, We were on the 2nd floor (no elevators) dining area was nice, hot breakfast served each day plenty to get full on. I had booked through Expedia so check in took about 3 minutes. Price was under $70 per night. It wasn't the nicest motel by far that I've stayed in, but all in all and at that price it wasn't that bad and I would stay again.

Pros: The motel was located conveniently to where I wanted to go and close to the big box stores.
Cons: A swimming pool would be nice. The breakfast area was laid out inconveniently. The plates and utencils should be on the left, nearer to the door.
My experience at this facility was overall acceptable.

Quality is what you get . . .

I fully enjoyed my stay at this Quality Inn. The staff was super helpful, rooms were clean and modern, breakfast had almost everything you could want, and the price was great. Highly recommend.
