My room was very clean, but the air-conditioner/heater is very noise, just a thin blanket, questionable people near the entrance in the back. Trash in front of the building (northside).

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how we are doing. Guest feedback is both a learning experience and teaching tool and it plays an important roll in our future growth. We apologize that your stay didn't meet your expectations. We have been replacing HVAC's as needed and we appreciate you letting us know yours was noisy. In the future please feel free to let us know of the situation while you are with us and we can either have maintenance address the issue or move you to a different room if you desire. We have quite a few contractors currently staying with us and to help ensure guest safety our team verifies people who are on premise but not in rooms on their rounds to ensure they are guests. In addition, during their rounds they are supposed to be picking up any trash they see. I will address it with them to make sure they are doing what they are supposed to be doing. Thank you for your feedback and we look forward to meeting your expectations on your next stay with us.

The young man who coordinates breakfast every morning does a spectacular job. Even though the hotel was full, breakfast was fast and easy thanks to him! It was also lovely to have an EV charger right across the street (super easy access). I would stay again.

We asked the front desk Saturday if there was any rooms with handicap toilets that were higher because the one we had was too low for my husband because he is disabled and the young lady at the front desk don’t know her name, but she said no all the toilets are the same size she lied to us and that is not good We made sure we let the older gentleman know on Sunday morning when we checked out what she had did

Cindy, we apologize for the confusion, there were no handicap rooms available during your stay and I think this might have gotten lost in the conversation. My apologies I don't think the agent was trying to lie to you I have never shown them the difference. I will make sure the front desk agents are educated on the slight difference in the toilet sizes between the regular rooms and the handicap rooms so they will be better educated on the slight height difference between the rooms for the future.

The staff was so helpful and friendly that it upped the rating for me. I was not satisfied with the condition of the room. The property needs updating and I’m not sure how it meets fire inspection. In my room there was a wooden box on the floor. Thinking perhaps someone had left something I picked it up and found bare wires. I would not recommend this property.

Sharon, sorry your room did not meet your expectations. I am not sure what you are refereeing to as a wooden box on the floor covering wires? none of our wiring comes out of the floor its all in the walls and our rooms are inspected by management prior to occupancy each new reservation. I did inspect your room again after receiving your review and found no wiring exposed and no reference to an issue in our maintenance log for your room or any other room.

The hotel is pretty run down. I stayed here about 10 years ago and nothing has been updated since then. The room had seen better days. Plaster where the walls that had been damaged was not painted. The Microwave did not work, and the night attendant seemed annoyed when I used the one in the lobby. The curtains have so many holes in them the sun shines right through.

Mike, I am sorry your microwave did not work we do our best to test them on a regular basis and have several backups for situations where they fail. The new ownership has been committed to property improvements and I am sorry you did not recognize the improvements especially with our recently renovated lobby and front desk area. Most rooms have been freshly painted and furniture is newer. New door locks and black out curtains recently arrived after 6 months of being on back order and will be installed shortly. Hopefully on your next visit you will notice the differences and improvements.
