Lovely city break
Hotel is in a great location - within 10 min walk of Waverley train station. Outside looks a little off putting - lots of scaffolding however this didn’t aftect our stay. Warm welcome and staff were always pleasant and helpful. Double room - liked the decor and slept very well. Mini fridge with goodies and robes and slippers were a nice touch. The room could have been even better with some small maintenance fixes - clic lock wood effect flooring had some gaps and shower seal needs replacing as some visible mould. Everything appeared clean. Breakfast was a highlight - excellent choice of hot and cold options and great service. I would return to this hotel for a short stay.
