Such a brilliant hotel
Really enjoyed the stay. Ibis is basic, but everything you need. Bed, TV, shower, toilet, a/c etc. This one was in a fantastic location 5 mins by walking to the old town, 10 mins from the castle. Staff were incredibly friendly and got us an earlier check-in, minded our bags for us while when we checked out and had to wait for a late flight home, and when we wanted an extra blanket (freezing in Edinburgh) they provided no problem. Definitely will stay again

Lovely little hotel, room was nice, however it was absolutely freezing. No heating worked, there were no extra blankets. One of the lights turned its self on every other hour throughout the night to wake us up.

The heating did not work so they brought in a space heater. The room backed on to a bar with music and some drunk patrons. Once that closed down two gentlemen in the next room decided to come in at 3:45 am. They walked down the hall speaking loudly. This continued in their room. The wall do not appear to have acoustic barriers. I finally knocked on their door to ask them to keep their voices down. Very disappointing. We will not go there again.
