I was very unhappy with the experience because my three year old granddaughter and myself were bitten by some type of bugs in the pillows or the mattress needless to say hotel staff only apologized and said they would get maintenance on it. I was not very happy

Disappointing

We were visiting our Grandchildren for 3 days, the only room available at the time of the reservation was a king room. The room was very small but did have a mini refrigerator which was nice. We arrived on a Friday and stood in line for 30 mins because there was only one person at the desk. On Saturday we came down stairs after no sleep due to the guest in the room above us jumping around all night we ask if we could be moved to a 2 queen room so our Grandchildren could spend the night, the lady at the front desk was very nice and told us that would not be a problem that we couldn't move right then because they were cleaning rooms and to come back later that afternoon and we could get our new room key. We came back around 4:00p.m. ask the gentleman about changing our room, he was having trouble with the computer and several people were behind us in line so he said he would just call up to our room when he got it figured out. We packed up all of our stuff and waited for 2 hours and still no call so we called downstairs and he informed us they had given all the 2 queen beds away. We once again were stuck in a small room with the guest above us jumping so hard it shook the lights on the walls(we finally did complain about this), I ask for a roll away bed and was told they did not have any. There was never an apology or how can we make it better....nothing. The prices to stay at this hotel were higher than what we paid to stay at the Ritz Carlton in Arlington, Va.

Best of Elizabeth City?

Pros: My son loved the pool!
Location: Elizabeth City , NC
The price of the room per night one might expect it would deter some rif raf. The overwhelming stench of weed(chronic) in the hallway was amazingly strong,and actually came into our room. The next day apparently the U.S. gymnastic team roomed above us,unbelievably loud. There were numerous company trucks,large trucks, allowed by the staff to park sideways across several prime parking spots. Had i known i would have paid considerably less per night and stayed where i'd expect that type of activities.The room was very clean. The "free" breakfast was ok at best. Good luck with cell service,horrible.

I was verry happy with my recent stay in Elizabeth city. nice gym and pool area. friendly staff. Loads of good local restaurants within walking and driving

BEST HOTEL IN ELIZABETH CITY BRAND NEW

STAFF MEMEBERS WAS GREAT TREATED ME LIKE ROYALITY. HOTEL WAS NEW AND FRESH LOOKING FROUND OUT THAT IT JUST OPENED IN SEPT 07. INDOOR POOL WAS GREAT FOR THE KIDS AND HOT TUB WAS GREAT FOR MY BACK. WILL STAY HERE AGAIN FOR SURE. I WILL RECOMMAND IT TO EVERYONE.
