Baymont by Wyndham Fort Wayne offered excellent value for the money. When we arrived, the heater in our room was broken. The site handyman set out to fix it, but he said it would be better to just move us to another room. It took over an hour to get us to the new room, but I could see that the handyman was rushing from place to place trying to take care of several things at once, so I tried to be patient. The staff was friendly and helpful during this process, though I can't stress enough how frustrating it was to sit and wait and wonder when things were going to get moving--this was, after all, between 11 PM and midnight, and we were very tired from a long drive. The rest of our three-night stay more than made up for this inconvenience. The room was comfortable and quiet, a great place to return to after a busy day, and the bed was excellent. They had a bag breakfast ready every morning, which included orange juice, a honey bun, a granola bar, and one other item I don't recall. It wasn't impressive, but it was adequate. Overall, I'd highly recommend this property.

The hotel was okay, but the staff sucked. They were rude the entire stay and harassed us. They entered my room while I was gone, took my dog outside and tied her to a cord coming from the building. When I returned to the hotel and asked where my dog was the house keeping ladys acted like they didn't want to tell me! Then the front desk lied to me and said my dog was being walked by an employee because she was scared while I was gone, but instead I found her tied up outside. I had the do not disturb sign on my door when while I was gone and they still went it. Also before I left the hotel I let the house keeping lady know I had a dog that was not in a cage to not go in my room, and she said she wouldn't. If there were issues while I was away they should have called me, but didn't. They just entered my room and removed my dog. Absolutely would never recommend this hotel or will not be back!!

Dear guest We were able to investigate your stay. Unfortunately there are rules and regulation for pet policy. You can’t leave your dog unattendent in the room. Your dog was scared and constantly barking 7am in the morning for over an hour. The front desk did try to get hold of you and knocked your room but there was no response.We were full house and we had 5 to 6 rooms complained about your dog for disturbance as they were trying to get some sleep. We take our guest complaint very serious. As they were ready to checkout we had to compensate them and give them assurity. Because they want that situation to be situated ASAP or call the police. Instead of calling the police we tried to comfort your dog. All hotel have pet policy or ask for front desk for printout. Please accept our apology for any other concern. We hope you consider staying with us again.

The property is well maintained and staff was helpful. The reservation through Travelocity didn’t show in the computer??? Fortunately, the man at the front desk made sure we received the room and rate we expected.
