Very disappointing

Pros: The breakfast was OK.
Cons: Obviously, fix the air conditioning, replace old mattresses, answer requests faster, and show serious concern when customers complain.
The room was much too hot and humid and the air conditioner did not work (it did not provide hardly any cooling and shut itself off when turned on high). It took a long time for someone to come to check it out, and we ended up having to make do with a large noisy fan. The beds were much too hard, and you could easily feel the individual bed springs. The person who checked us out in the morning seemed little concerned about our problems.

Nice Facility, disappointed.

Facility is very nice, the operation leaves something to be desired. There were some issues with the automatic doors not working. The compact florescent bulb in the bath took so long to get bright enough to see with, we just left it on all night. Had same kind of problem with standard florescent light fixture over sink. Wife mentioned bathtub cleanliness not up to par. What appeared, and tasted like, powered eggs on breakfast bar, even putting the 'sausage' gravy on them didn't help much. Rate was very good, made it easier to overlook the shortcomings, and, there is a Bob Evans right out front, so breakfast bar was bypassed on subsequent mornings.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Poor breakfast
We were greeted by very friendly hotel staff. The rooms and hotel was clean and neat and comfortable. The rooms had a small refrigerator and a microwave in them. The breakfast was not as good as the rooms. They have the standard warm breakfast of powdered eggs and canned gravy, which wasn't so good. The biscuits were so hard, I could not break them in half. Do-it-yourself waffles were available, but I didn't try them. Fruit was green apples and fruit cocktail. Cold cereal and instant oatmeal was also available, but no yogurt.

Will come back again

This is a great place! Big lobby, big room sizes and very clean hotel. The previous reviewer liked the hotel but he didn't like the bed. I didn't feel that way. I just went with my family in early august and we had such a great time. People are really friendly and they seem to care. Very flexible folks. Good wi-fi strength. Guest Laundry came in handy as we have been travelling. I was impressed that they have Microwave/Refrigerator in their standard rooms. Good quality breakfast too. Guess where I am staying next time I am in Fort Wayne?
