Cozy Rock Cabin is an 800 sq ft cabin on 3 acres of wooded land. Carefully designed for couples and digital nomads, it has everything you'll need to explore southern Maine (#thewaylifeshouldbe) or just stay cozy in front of a fire.

The space is perfectly designed to be small and cozy, but also have everything you need to both live and work comfortably. There is one bedroom with a king size bed and desk, as well as a loft looking out into the woods with a full sized bed and a reading nook. *NOTE* The loft is above the bedroom, so while the house has two beds and can sleep up to 4, the loft and bedroom do not have a wall/door between them.

The kitchen will be fully stocked so you can cook all your own meals, and includes pots, pans, knives, utensils and a coffee maker.

LOCATION
Cozy Rock Cabin is just a quick 7 minute drive from downtown Freeport, Maine (home of the flagship LL Bean store and outlets) and just 20-25 minutes from Portland. Plus, we're right on the coast and it's easy to find water access whether you're wanting to visit the rocky beaches of Maine or drop a kayak in for a paddle.

BOOKING DETAILS
We open bookings for Cozy Rock seasonally, three months at a time. This helps us plan our own trips in advance, and prevents guests from having to book far in advance. We announce the opening of a new calendar first to our email list (you can find the link to sign up over on IG), and then on IG. Follow us over there to be the first to know about calendar openings as well as last minute cancellations.

Fall (Sept.-Nov.): FULLY BOOKED

Perhaps the best part of the cabin (in my opinion) is the guest book. I've spent the entirety of the build creating a guest book pointing you to every single thing we love in the area. Carefully curated day trips, brewery tours (based on location, beer preference, etc.), outdoor excursions and more. If you've ever wanted to visit Maine but weren't sure where to start, Cozy Rock is definitely the place for you.

The space is ideal for mature adults, and is not a great fit for small children, or people looking to party (we legally are only allowed 4 guests maximum). We do have neighbors who are full time residents, and we care deeply about ensuring the area remains quiet and peaceful for them. Please plan accordingly.

PETS
While the property is dog friendly, we want to make sure you know that the trim is all white pine. We do not recommend bringing dogs that are young or aren't well trained, as they are apt to scratch/damage the trim. You will be charged for this, so just want to make sure you know this ahead of time!

HOT TUB
We love the hot tub, and work diligently to keep it maintained year round. That said, due to situations outside of our control (Mother Nature or guest misuse) there are times where we are forced to drain and refill, or it takes extra time to reheat for the next guest. This happens rarely (only once last winter), but we like to manage expectations to avoid disappointment should that happen during your stay.

*WEATHER*
We can not predict or control weather, so we don't offer refunds due to inclement weather. Please keep this in mind when booking, and if this is a concern we recommend purchasing travel insurance.
