Arrived at 4:08 for our after 4pm checkin and spent 15-20 with clerk trying to find our reservation while refusing to enter confirmation number. After finally entering the number at 4:35 to be told that our reservation was cancelled due to my credit card declining. Told that I was notified twice via email that it was going to cancelled because of it if we didn’t contact with a valid card. First my card was never declined or ran and second there were no email confirmations sent by the hotel or Travelocity. Clerk blamed you then offered many reason why they could hold the room then told me to be quiet and she would explain. She told us first that they cancelled because they were booked full then offered us the exact same room for 169.00 for the night. I told her she was lying so they could charge more $ for the room. American Express is checking to see if my card was charged in Feb when reservation was made. We ending up having to make a 3 1/2 hour drive back home after our event because of having no room. Very disappointed .
