Probably best avoided unless appears cheap.
The pre check-in key code was never emailed. The terminal in the reception didn’t not work. The team member who appeared after a 4 minute wait at the desk had me say my name, spell it phonetically and then asked me to repeat it again. I have never lived more than 25 miles from Glasgow so it’s not me that is the issue! The bed was small for the size of the room, bathroom was spacious. AirCon died in the middle of the night and the room was roasting. Housekeeping chapped the door at 9.30am to see if we had left. The self checkout email link didn’t work - I doubted that it would with the way things went. Would avoid in future as better properties available at the same price point on the night.

Anniversary at the Maldon
Clean and friendly. Limited evening meal menu. Breakfast items where often over cooked and not a lot of variety stayed 4 days and breakfast offered was same everyday. Had to request towels and toilet role for the room aa not replaced after house keeping had been in.
