The hotel was low on towels. The breakfast was nasty and they had trash and almost 50 knants upstairs.

The lady at front desk was really nice although we were given the wrong room at check in she tried to tell me my reservation was for a king when i clearly booked two queens. 4 travelers can’t fit in one bed ya know. Then the pool was closed this was the main reason we booked here was for the pool. I am literally in a 100$ hotel 2 hours from my home for a pool for my son and niece that’s not even open

HVAC was either hot or cold. Thermostat wasn’t working probably. No amenities due to COVID-19.

We arrived late— well after the 12AM check-in— and the night receptionist waited for us!!! It was incredible. She was awesome: and, we were very grateful for her. The hotel was good. Bedding was nice, bathroom had some issues— they may have been in the middle of a renovation. We arrived at 230AM and were out by 9AM. It was really a pit stop to lay our heads and shower in the morning. What stands out is the customer service!

Great room convenient location

Not our first stay at a Hampton. Overall good experience with the exceptiin of the breakfast buffet. Eggs had a metallic taste and what appeared to be sausage patties tasted like really cheap hamburger patties.

Excellent Hotel

Pros: Everything was excellent. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have experienced.
Cons: The tub could have been a little bit cleaner. It looked like there was some mold in the corner, but overall the experience was fantastic.
Location: We were there for my niece's graduation, so we weren't interested in anything in the surrounding area.
We booked a stay at the Hampton Inn, Kinston and found it to be an extremely wonderful experience. The hotel staff was outstanding, the room spacious and comfortable, and the cleanliness to be exceptional.
