Thank you for the wonderful review of our hotel and staff. Our hotel was renovated about two years ago, so we are pleased you were able to take advantage of that. We still have a few projects in the works such as a fresh exterior paint job with new colors to match the new Courtyard Logo and digital key. I try to stay at Marriott branded hotels, just for points. This was a nice-looking hotel: nice looking lobby, rooms, etc., but in your room they use those horrible thermostats that don't allow you to keep the fan on (regardless of if it's cooling/heating). There was a lot of noise outside our room that the fan would've drowned out, if we would've been able to keep on, but unfortunately we were woken up repeatedly throughout the night and did not get a good night sleep. Very frustrating stay.

Mike D, Please accept my sincere apology for the challenges you have experienced during your stay with noise and thermostat control in your room. I can definitely understand how frustrating that must be when trying to get a good night's sleep. When our staff is notified, we are quick to respond and take care of any issues or challenges regarding noise, etc. We do have a certain setting that can have the fan continuously running, but it would have to be done through one of our team members at the front desk. We are always delighted to assist in any way we can to create a memorable and enjoyable stay for our guests. Please do not hesitate to let any one on our staff know of any issues or concerns as we can address them immediately. I once again would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and we hope to have an opportunity to serve you again whenever your travels bring you to the Statesville area.
