No impressed to say the least. We had 2 rooms. Check in was at 3pm, the first room we didn't get in until after 330pm, this room was dirty and they had just cleaned it they said. The AC dripped and was old, didn't work very good. The bathroom the tub was black on the bottom and the shower head didn't work. This room was horrible. The second room we had we did not get in until after 430pm, after I had complained 3 times. This room also was not cleaned very good and the AC didn't work, it was so cold in the room I wish had a sweater to wear. The breakfast the next morning was horrible, cold and not much of a selection at all. We all left very hungry.

The property is 2-3 star designation in my opinion. There was an issue with the water pressure in my room with the water not running hard enough and the first night the hot water was not working in the shower but maintenance fixed that problem. The hotel has a nice waterfront view of Kingston and the breakfast was adequate. Staff were for the most part polite and professional. I would stay here as my last resort if needing a place in Kingston and no other options.

Great view of the island and ocean.

Pros: The scenic views and friendly staff.
Cons: Management should alert guests the days and times when pesticides will be used. Also, any disruption at night, should be posted.
Location: Visit lime cay island for the beach affect. Enjoyed the boat ride, too. Two Grace restaurants nearby and small eateries.
Confirmed for double beds. Was given a room with a king size bed and called it an upgrade. No other availability. I was travelling with my niece. Last night stay, workers started around 11p.m., and worked through the night until 5 a.m. They were hammering and connecting steel poles and frames. Nonstop noise and workers talking loudly. It appeared to be a stage and runway for an event. Complained at front desk around 1 a.m. Was offered a room change, but the noise level was so high, it didn't matter. They sprayed pesticide around 6 or 7 p.m., twice doing our stay, but failed to notify us to close the windows.

New Hotel name, same old terrible service.

Pros: Located in Historic 15th Century city. Probably the only Hotel in Kingston located on waterfront.
Cons: 1. Current Management 2. Current Management 3. Current Management 4. Infra-structure modernization
Location: 1. Lime Cay - swimming, snorkeling 2. Sport Fishing 3. Tour Historic Sites, Fort Charles, Naval Hospital Bldg.
This Hotel was once a fine venue some 40 years ago. It has become a rather disappointing place to visit let alone stay. While some members of the staff try their best to accommodate guests, their efforts are thwarted by Management who mindlessly remain in their offices while their business crumbles within earshot. The Hotel infra-structure is in dire need of repair and/or upgrades, since total modernization is not feasible due to poor patronage. Basic water supply is not provided around the clock. Shower fixtures actually fall apart during normal day to day use, plus numerous other issues.. In any event. while I can struggle through the infra-structure inconveniences, it's the Management's lack of initiative to personally address client issues, which is unfathomable and downright disrespectful.
