This motel is very, very basic and kind of put the appearance of a late 50's, early 60's sleep spot. You get what you pay for as the saying goes. No light connected to switch at the entry door. No refrigerator in the room. Missing tile off bathroom floor. Total room square footage approx. 160 ft. Motel sits about 1/4 mile off the main highway going through Lamar so it is quiet not having to hear the high truck traffic that goes through. For a very economical one night stay it was what you pay in the very end. I would stay again just because of the quiet and price.

Renovated room, very clean. No heat in the room that worked. Told the maid turns the heat off during cleaning?? Staff finally proved a portable heater after promises the room would heat up. No thermostat in the room either.

The room was very small. There was no WIFI. The put my double bed on a twin platform so most of the matress was hanging off. The AC didn't work so it was warm in my room.

Got what I paid for
Well, I got what I paid for I guess. It was cheap and the bed was clean and that was my minimum bar. The front desk person was very nice, and even called to check on me to see if I was still coming when I got in later than expected. The room however…again, the bed was clean. The bathroom, a little questionable, the tv also questionable…I was a little concerned that the door wouldn’t lock but it did. It served its purpose of being a cheap place to stay while traveling east.
