"Our wait to check in was long because the keycard machine wasn’t working, they did end up walking us up to our room instead of making us wait which was fine. However, the am first thing I noticed in the non-smoking hotel was the overwhelming smell of smoke. The second thing we noticed was that the shower was running, the TV was on and the window was wide open. We obviously didn’t feel comfortable staying and they offered to move us to a different room. We appreciated that but had to wait over 45 minutes before we could get into another room. The new room we moved to smelled musty and mildewy, as if the carpet had been wet and not properly dried. Parts of the carpet were missing, a chunk of wall had been patched but not painted over, cigarette burns in the chair and there was no wifi password posted anywhere, but when we went to use the phone to call the front desk and ask, we saw the phone cord had been cut.
The air unit in the room was actually filthy, not just the filter, but the entire unit.
The room was $111 with tax, and definitely not worth it. "
