I have stayed at the Seahorse many times but it’s been a few years, and time has not been kind. Pros: the front desk staff were lovely, the view from the room and the hot tub were great. Cons: our room was in terrible shape. Most of the outlets did not work (stripped so wouldn’t hold the plug or just plain didn’t work), there was no towel rack (and a hole in the door where one bracket would have been), one lamp (the one with the charging outlet) didn’t work, the water in the shower was lukewarm at best with very low water pressure, and the bathroom was not clean (hair folded into a fresh towel, hair in the tub, hair on the sink. Also, there was no WiFi (supposedly they were switching providers and didn’t have a wireless router or extender or something). In the evenings it was super dark in the room due to only one lamp (that flickered), and overall it was not a pleasant experience other than getting to enjoy that view. I’m sad because I always loved the seahorse but I don’t think I would stay there again.

Everything was amazing about this stay except for the heater in the room pushed out cold air and the furnace in the living room didn’t work but it won’t deter us from coming back here things happen and I’m sure things will work perfect on our next stay.

Everything was perfect! The night manager called when we were on our way to see what time we would be arriving since the office closed at 9. We arrived about 15 mins later. The only issues we had was the bathtub was a little dirty but besides that everything was perfect!

Have been staying here since I was a little kid with my family. Always a lovely stay. Everyone is very nice, and helpful. Hot tub is still one of favorite features.

Filthy, freezing, and so uncomfortable!
Their "cabins" are in desperate need of work! We had no heat, one thin throw blanket on the bed. The fridge did not work and we found so much dust, dirt, cob webs and garbage from previous guests. Seems to me the owners dont want to invest in makint their "cabins" more comfortable and the cleaning crew needs to seriously reevaluate their work. I will not be coming back here and will make sure to spare anyone i know from wasting their money here.
