Worse stay ever

On the outside looks like a awesome hotel. Upon checking in got upgraded to a suite for a little but of nothing. My husband and i thought that was awesome way to start our small get away. Entering in the room we were immediately met by an overwhelming smell. I told front desk twice that there was a terrible odor and they did nothing. Trying not to ruin our weekend i decide to just go to the store and buy air freshener and bleach. I myself sanitized the room and sprayed it. It was fine the rest of the night. The following day we leave and are gone all day upon returning to our room we walk in and again the smell is overwhelming. I again clean the room not understanding what the smell is. I try to ignore it. I got to take a shower and as i grab a towel off the rack i notice that its blood on the towel rack...smh ugghh just gross so i tell the front desk guy and again he does nothing so i requested a different set of towels. After that i was completely ready to go. We decide to leave first thing in the morning and end our trip early. We are packing our bahs and checking over the room to make sure we dont leave anything behind and find a dead rat laying right next to the bed undrr the bedskirt.. OMGGGGGG WE FOUND THE SMELL. By the looks of it it haf been there for quit a while because it was starting to deteriorate... Never ever will i stay there again..the manager said that he would refund my money and that he sent me an email. I have yet to get my refund nor any email from them

Cons: The pillows are a bit flat. I will bring my pillow from home the next time.
It is nice place to stay if you are looking for a basic hotel at a good price.
