This is an average resort, no frills, but clean and nice. The staff are amazing, but the overall guests that stay here are slobs. I've never experienced such disgusting behavior from the guest. At the end of the day, in general, they left garbage, dirty plates, cups, towels all over the pool/beach area. It looked like the aftermath of frat party, but it's not frat kids, it's older adults. The staff have to spend hours cleaning up after grown adults. Sadly we will not be coming back here. Also, upon check in, they are very pushy about buying into their timeshare, to the point of overbearing and obnoxious.

Great location. Exceptional staff. Easy check in. Food was ok. We had a 5 year old and all food was closed from 11-12. Not a huge deal but it would be nice to have something available. Pools were great and so was the beach.

Had 4 different restaurants was nice variety but the food wasn’t very good. Feel like the food at the buffet was leftover from the restaurants from the night before. At breakfast had to ask for the bacon that was hidden below the counter. Service in the restaurants wasn’t very good. Pool is nice and large but had to get up every day at 6:00am to get chairs orotund the pool.

Small but nice property. Stall were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Other than difficulty buying the alcohol they have on display in the lobby, the staff was good. We called three times for a bottle to be delivered to our room and never received it. The À la cart restaurants were very good, however we could not go to the Italian restaurant because long pants are required for men and we don’t bring them on vacation. The breakfast buffet was average. They often had a lunch special poolside that was good. The dinner buffet was also average. The area around the resort has several good restaurants, if you want to walk a bit, downtown San Josè del Cabo is less that a mile wAlk and well worth the trip. We booked 3 weeks before our travel date and got a very good price, if I had paid the published rate of over $500 a night I would have been very disappointed.

My kids loved the waterpark. The pool was cold. The staff needs to do better with wearing masks properly. The beach is clean and beautiful. The rooms were clean, but only full sized beds.

The staff was very attentive and polite. Some of the ceilings looked like they were going to fall apart everywhere. They kept the hotel extremely clean. Cafe Solaris is the only in resort breakfast unless you are a time share member, they got special meals all the time which is frustrating and a separate bar area where they refused to serve other guests or allow them in the area. But the beach was great, we swam in the ocean every morning. The vendors on the beach were super friendly and respectful. Also it’s great location to leave the hotel and go to outside restaurants and shops. Super safe area day and night for us.

I specifically asked for 2 bed and paid extra. We hit one bed and it wasn’t their fault I was told and next to my room was construction I too video. I was promised to have my room changed next day by 3pm, the next day at 3pm I was given a new room with ONE Bed! So they changed it by 6pm I started our vac. When you arrive you will need nice staff who are in charge of giving you a tour( time share) We declined. We did zipLine and snorkeling with EcoBar . It was excellent. Royal Solaris buffet is 2 , 5 being excellent.
