Wonderful escape for kids and family. Adults will love it, too. Food outstanding! Huge pool but be sure to check closing time. Also, do t be last for dinner reservations as it’s all you can eat sides. Apple pie out of this world; biscuits and rolls to die for! Roomy rooms, clean as a shiny penny. Don’t miss this great respite. Take your fishing pole. Plenty of indoor/outdoor games there, too.

The property was beautiful and the people are awesome. They are one of the few places that allow you to bring your dog/dogs, so that is a plus in any pet owners book. There are no local restaurants, but the main lodge serves meals at a decent price and they always have a crowd at breakfast. There is a market/post office down the road that serves sandwiches and such that are pretty tasty. You go to the mountains to relax and that is what you get at Graves. Cell service is really hit and miss, but the internet service was great the entire time we were there. (six days). So far we know the place is great, but there are some issue worth mentioning. When you head to Graves Lodge expect a clean room and a hot shower. The beds are old, hard, and will leave you needing a chiropractor, but the pillows are like clouds. You are in the country so expect a few bugs from the local vegetation, but nothing spray won't kill. There are no phones in the rooms so if you need any assistance ice/towels/ etc. you have to go down to the main lodge or call them from your cell if it connects. Families: They do try their best to keep their patrons happy and active with the swimming pool (awesome) and animal petting area across the road (horses, pigs, etc.), and weekend bon-fires/music but after two days it will get really old unless you have other activities for the kids. Couples: It is worth staying a few days to relax and maybe do some hiking or sightseeing around the mountains. Sug 4 to 5 days max.

Cell service is pretty much non existent, but your cell phone will work if you have Wifi calling on your plan. So glad to hear that you enjoyed your time with us and we hope to see you again!!

The place is a peaceful rural retreat. The staff was very friendly and willing to help. Overall great experience.

Clean and pretty room. Staffs were fine except charged me a pet fee which I never requested. I did not bring any pets with me. I don't know where is the pet fee coming from.

Property is locate at the base of the mountain the view is spectacular, beautiful sunrise lots of colors leaves the staf is friendly and very helpful i will definitely be back ,great experience
