You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Cabin Borders Zaleski State Forest 56 Private Acres with Stocked Pond

Cabin is also used as guest house so it is close to the main house. We are an operating farm and have the usual farm noises. Private Full bath is located near cabin in Barn.

During your stay you can hunt or Fish on the private property. That is the only hunting allowed on the property. We are bordered on three sides with Zaleski State Forest. Also, depending on the time of year the fishing can be great on Raccoon Creek which we also border. Spring produces good sized Bass. The rest of the year you never know what you might catch. Bring your Kayak & fishing equipment.

We also have a small Stocked pond with Large Mouth Bass (catch and release only). Hiking trails nearby. Horse back riding, Hocking Hills attractions and Lake Hope are all close.

Also, 15 minutes from Gordon K. Bush Ohio University airport in Albany, OH. If you fly in we can make arrangements to pick you up.

Such a cute little cabin!
Good people! Awesome little dog..bring him a toy and he will be your best friend! Loved the donkeys, goats, peacocks and ducks! If you’re looking for a place off the beaten path to hunt or fish, definitely check it out! Will definitely be going back!

My son and I stayed here for our 2023 hunting trip. It was perfect for the two of us. Any more people may be tight as the place is small. Beware if you are tall, the doorway is low! Ask me how I found out.....twice! Owner Dallas was very helpful and met us each day to see if we needed anything. When my son was successful on his hunt, Dallas was ready to help any way he could. If we hunt the area again, this will be first on our list of places to stay.

One of my best stays, was exactly what we were looking for Dallas,Sue and Finn were the best ! Enjoyed every minute of or stay with them ! The property was beautiful and am hoping to return !

Dallas was a great host and the cabin and grounds were immaculate. The cabin is nicely decorated with a good heater and includes nice touches like DVDs, a tv, a grill, fire pit and wi-fi. There aren’t many restaurants nearby so it is good to have an oven/stove, coffee pot, microwave, etc. I would suggest bringing slip on shoes to use when making a trip to the bathroom in the barn just to make life easier. The property has goats, ducks, a donkey, peacocks, and a cute dog named Finn. The place is located about 20-30 mins from Hocking Hills hiking destinations and about 10 minutes from Lake Hope, and down the street from Zaleski State Forest.

Best VRBO Stay in years
We stayed a few nights at Dallas’s cabin and it was genuinely one of the nicest places I’ve stayed in a long time. He’s incredibly kind and supplies everything you could need, exceptional cleanliness, and even offers kayak rentals. Getting to feed the farm animals was something I did not expect but was a very welcome addition, as was sitting outside with Finn the dog. If I could rate the stay over 5 stars I would. Genuinely incredible location.
