There was a cockroach in our bathroom and that was very disappointing and made me feel like the motel was dirry

I didn't like any thing about this property. The smell in our room was a STRONG cleaning smell that gave us a headache. The halls had holes in the walls and the carpet was disgusting. Our bathroom floor turned the towel black when I tried to mop up some water from the sink. The tray that the water cups were on was filthy. The price was a ripoff!!

We have stayed here several times in the past. This year it seemed as though it had gone downhill. Our room was always muggy even though we had the A/C on 65. it was so bad that bath towels used in the morning were still damp the next morning. The room was musty when we first arrived but figured it would air out. Nope. Even bought disinfectant spray which didn't help. The hottub still was not working from two years ago. Breakfast was fabulous and so was the hostess. Pool turned emerald green on the second day so we couldn't use it. The lobby, of course, was wonderful and updated. Just the whole room experience was sticky and musty. We come twice a year but don't think we will stay there the next time.
