The hotel is new and fresh. Our room on the 13th floor was very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. As expected in NYC, the room was small, but well appointed and had everything we needed - comfortable bed, large TV, nightstands with lighting, outlets and charging ports, closet, desk & chair, fridge, microwave, ironing board, and safe. I purposely packed very light and used the supplied amenities. The bathroom included facial soap (didn’t try it) and nice liquid hand soap and lotion, The shower had body wash and shampoo & conditioner that didn’t dry out my hair. The shower also had a foot rest to aid in shaving your legs. There was a hair dryer, too. Not a super high-quality model, but not one of those useless ones attached to the wall, either. There were many options at the included breakfast (6-10am) and hotel staff helped serve some of the items which felt more sanitary than self-serve. The only challenge was finding seating. We arrived at 6:30 and it was already packed and no place to sit. We waited until chairs in the lobby became available. Staff did a good job keeping up with the food demand. The hotel held our bags before check-in and after check out. The hotel location was a very short walk to Broadway theaters and the #1 subway route, which we used to get to Moynihan Train Hall/Penn Station, 9-11 Museum, and the Staten Island Ferry. Central Park and Rockefeller Center were within walking distance, too.
