Check-in was not as I had done when sent a text link so had to do it again. Dismayed to learn that the pool cost $75/person/day, even for registered guests. No free internet was available but could register for 'hi-speed' for $19.95/day. Minimal staff were wearing masks, including the porter who rides in the little elevator with people but was concerned about the Delta variant causing another problem with vacationer use. Have to request ice from front desk though usually quick. Most front desk staff a bit curt with me.

I liked the hotel’s overall ambiance and the kindness of the staff. However I was sent a confirmation email that informed me of the incorrect check in time and had to wait hours before getting my room.

When we checked in, we were told that the price we booked on Travelocity actually wasn't the price we were going to be paying, because they also charge a nightly "Guest Experience Fee." Considering that on the first night there, we complained four times to the manager about what sounded like a raging frat party in the room next to us (I even went down to the lobby to complain at 4:45 am, but the manager had to go break up a fight on the 7th floor so he never took care of what was happening next door), and I think finally around 5:30 or 6 am they went to bed so we could get some sleep. That was super fun. The walls are paper thin, so we essentially did not get any sleep on our first night. I'm so glad we paid that extra Guest Experience Fee for such a terrible experience! The room itself was nice, it had a balcony, we were in town for business in the neighborhood so the location was also great. If you're paying almost $400/night for a hotel room, you should be able to get some sleep and the manager should handle the problem, especially after we called four different times over the course of about 6 hours. We even asked if we could switch rooms (we even offered to pay more to upgrade to a different room), but they said we couldn't do that since we had already checked in and they would have to send housecleaning up to clean our room after we moved. Overall, terrible customer service and there's no chance I would ever return to this hotel or ever recommend it to anyone.
