The location of hotel was great. Staff generally friendly. However calling this hotel a 4 star is a real stretch. The hotels carpet was dirty, the rooms we had recked at smoke and a funky smell like cat urine. The only ice machine was in basement. No spare blankets in room. Maid left no coffee at clean up. Door in restroom bottom moldy and wallpaper was coming off. Definitely needs a makeover. The so called resort fee outrageous and unfair. This particular hotel Will definaobe a pass in the future.

Loved this property. The lobby was under construction so there was no restaurant/bar onsite. Visited NYC at Christmas time and was surprised to see the lack of holiday decor at the hotel. Other than that - everything was excellent
